Cincy Photo Walk 16: Camp Washington

Saturday, October 12th at 11:45 am we will start Cincy Photo Walk 16 in Camp Washington. Clink the link to go to the Facebook Event. We will meet at the corner of Bates and Colerain near the Happy Camper Mural.

This walk will coincide with the Made in Camp event that day that runs from 12-4.

Camp Washington is a community of Cincinnati bounded by the Mill Creek on the west, and Central Parkway on the east. The Western Hills viaduct marks it’s southern border, and the north ends where the Mill Creek and I-75 meet.

In addition to the iconic Camp Washington Chili, the community also is home to the American Sign Museum, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a number of interesting murals, and many artists that will have open houses during the Made in Camp event.

It should make for a very interesting walk. The route will be about 2.5 miles with a mix of residential and industrial sites, as well as a park and the previously mentioned Museum. The museum is not free, but worth a visit if you want after the walk. It does have a number of cool signs outside of the museum.
